Chizoba (Chichi) Bhene, CA(SA)

Chizoba “Chichi” Bhene, CA(SA) is an audit manager at Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM) with nearly 10 years of experience conducting and supervising audits, consulting on regulatory compliance requirements and providing analysis and research for clients. She also has developed increasing responsibilities for directing budgeting, reporting and engagement management activities, and cultivating strong client relationships to result in effective outcomes for audit and accounting engagements. She also conducts reviews and compilations.

Prior to joining CBM, Chichi served as an assistant manager for an international accountancy in London, with specialized support for the firm’s real estate and construction clients. She has also worked for two accounting, taxation and consulting firms in South Africa, providing a broad array of outsourced accounting, audit and consulting services for clients in multiple countries.

In addition to her professional expertise, Chichi is passionate about feeding those less fortunate. She has prepared meals and delivered them to those in need throughout local communities in Cape Town, South Africa.

She is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) through the South Africa Institute of Chartered Accountants.
