CBM Managing Partner Pete Reilly will present “Seven Firms in Five Years – I Have a Feeling We’re Not in Kansas Anymore” on Sunday, September 22, 2019 to a group of counterpart managing partners from other professional service accounting firms at a meeting in Portland, Oregon. The presentation will cover branding, and the operational, technological and financial impacts on merging seven firms into CBM in the period of five years, concentrating on those aspects of mergers of greatest interest to firm leadership.
According to Pete’s vision, the challenges of integrating multiple offices are outweighed by the benefits gained in enhanced services, increased industry niches and a well diverse culture. His presentation will include a Benefits section, a Do’s and Don’ts section and a branding section. In an era of increasing mergers and acquisitions, firm leadership should be prepared to adopt best practices that contribute to growth and longer-term positioning.
Pete has presented several times on this topic this year, including at AICPA’s ENGAGE conference in Las Vegas and at the Rainmaker Companies’ 2019 SuperConference in Atlanta, Georgia.
