CBM D-PATH

As part of CBM’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, and of supporting the professional development of minorities and female professionals, the firm hosts D-PATH (“Diversity – Professional Accountants and Advisors Transforming the Horizon”).

Four professionals from CBM meet regularly to develop programming opportunities that provide a clear path forward to advance the status of women and minorities in the firm and throughout the profession. CBM is confident that the future leadership of the firm will continue to reflect the same diversity that exists in CBM today.

• August 29, 2020 – CBM Hosts Diversity Champion Kimberly Ellison-Taylor to Discuss Inclusion in the Professional Workforce at CBM Staff Meeting
• August 22, 2020 – Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, P.C. and Team Members Collectively Donate $6,500 to Organizations in Support of Black Lives, Education and Community Development
• June 14, 2020 – CBM Named as one of the Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership a Second Time by The Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance
• March 17, 2020 – CBM Board Chair Patricia Drolet Named the Recipient of the Virginia Society of CPAs Ruth Coles Harris Advancing Diversity and Inclusion Award
