CBM ranked 5th among small businesses with 1,123 metro-area volunteer hours and 6th in metro-area financial contributions of $86,678.
“This reflects only partly on a successful 100th anniversary campaign,” said Daniel L. Weaver, CPA, president and managing partner of CBM. As part of the firm’s centennial celebrations over the past two years (referred to as CBM100), team members spearheaded numerous volunteer and charitable initiatives to give back to the not-for-profit community that has been critical to CBM’s success since 1921. “This year’s philanthropic efforts were part of a vibrant campaign, but they also validate our strong spirit of community leadership, which is one of the firm’s core values,” Weaver continued.
