CBM Manager Reema Patel, CPA is scheduled to co-present on “Re-Imagining the Path to Partnership” for the Accounting MOVE Project and the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance during their annual mini-summit on Thursday, June 24. Reema will speak at 10 am.
The Summit, whose theme this year is Permanent Progress from Pandemic Pivots, will be promoted widely by CPA Academy, a leading provider of professional education for more than 365,000 professionals in the accounting industry.
Reema will discuss what it means to be on the partner track during the pandemic and how that ties with the firm’s overall strategy for recruiting, retaining and advancing women.
The Summit organizers believe that as firms regain momentum in the post-COVID recovery, there is a chance to re-center diversity, inclusion, and equity priorities and programs to accelerate the advancement of women and women of color. The mini-summit will equip firm leaders, talent development staff, and advocates for women with tactics they can use now to win women back and to forge new ways of working that can permanently strengthen women’s careers and firm stability and performance.
There is no cost to participate and approximately 750 individuals are expected to attend.
CBM was recognized by the Accounting MOVE Project as a top firm for equity leadership in 2019 and 2020. Click here to read our 2020 announcement.
