As the deadline to apply for a Paycheck Protection Program loan passed last Friday, attention now turns to loan forgiveness. Less than a week ago, the Small Business Administration released a set of Frequently Asked Questions with their responses specifically about the topic of loan forgiveness.
In a newly announced August 18 educational session, CBM Dealership Practice Chair John Comunale and Tax Supervisor Tom Hudson will review the evolution of the PPP program over the past few months, examine the implications of the new FAQs and offer their outlook about how the program may continue evolving in the coming weeks and months. They will also pinpoint areas of ongoing uncertainty.
