On Sunday, November 3, Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM) Audit Supervisor, Lori Reynolds participated in the National Race to End Women’s Cancer, and annual Washington, DC-based race, which seeks to raise $500,000 for research purposes as well as awareness for the work of the Foundation for Women’s Cancer.
The foundation has successfully generated $8.5 million in different research grant awards over the years, all dedicated toward supporting them the fight for a cure for women’s gynecological cancers.
“Finding a cure for women’s cancer has been close to my heart for a while. Friends, mothers of my friends and many others I’ve come to know and care about have been part of the fight,” said Reynolds. Her participation also was part of CBM100-Charities, the firm’s initiative to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
