Julia Lafferty, partner and a director of not-for-profit services at Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM), led a campaign for team members to collect hygiene products such as bras, underwear, menstrual products, toothpaste and related items for I Support the Girls, an organization that works through an international network of affiliates to collect and distribute items to women experiencing homelessness, domestic violence or poverty.
Beginning in March, in honor of Women’s History Month, through the end of April, the team collectively contributed eight boxes of feminine and hygiene products. Additionally, individual team members donated $250, which received a matching donation from CBM.
This initiative follows an earlier similar campaign led by the firm in 2022 for I Support the Girls.
