Jamie S. Siegal, CPA, CDFA®, has joined Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM) as a divorce financial and litigation support manager, expanding the firm’s divorce services practice. She joined CBM’s divorce division team of six professionals at the firm to help clients navigate the complexities of financial planning and decision-making during divorce. She has expertise working to deliver the most favorable outcomes possible for clients going through mediation, collaborative divorce and litigation.
“I look forward to helping clients get through one of the most challenging financial and emotional times they may ever experience,” says Siegal. “The CBM team has a solid reputation in our industry for bringing an objective and caring approach to the divorce finance process, and I am committed to helping them succeed even more.”
Before joining CBM, Siegal served two years as a divorce financial analyst for Financial Divorce Solutions. In that role, she delivered collaborative, mediation and client advocacy support for financial issues in divorce including expert witness testimony, budgeting, financial analysis of property settlements, stock options and retirement plans, and marital/ separate property calculations. As a financial neutral in the collaborative process and a trained mediator, she has worked with clients and attorneys to achieve mutually agreeable and fair solutions to the complex financial matters in and beyond their divorce.
