Jordan Egert, CPA, CFE, CDFA®, manager of litigation support and forensic services at Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM), graduated from the Margaret DeBoe Leadership Program during a virtual recognition program on Thursday, June 4. The program, administered by the Greater Washington Society of CPAs, delivers an in-depth educational program for an annual cohort of rising accounting firm leaders to develop their communication, management, leadership and business development skills as a complement to their technical skills.
Since 2016, GWSCPA has hosted the Margaret DeBoe Leadership program, which is named for GWSCPA’s first woman president, and who also served as a leader in firm management, and was an expert on many topics and a mentor to young professionals.
“On behalf of everyone at CBM, I wish to congratulate Jordan for successfully completing the DeBoe leadership training program,” said Peter B. Reilly, CPA, CVA, president and managing partner of CBM. “He has earned the confidence of our clients by delivering high-quality tax, divorce litigation, financial planning and forensic accounting expertise, and we look forward to his growing role at the firm.”
Mr. Egert joined CBM in late 2017. In addition to his CPA designation, he is also a certified fraud examiner and a certified divorce financial analyst. He also presents regularly for clients on financial planning for professionals and other individuals across every stage of their lives and careers.
