Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM) will sponsor the DC Academy of Collaborative Professionals’ Spring Symposium on April 27, 2018. The annual event, hosted by the Academy’s international network of legal, financial and mental health and other professionals who assist parties facing separating, divorce or other difficult matters through a non-adversarial process, will focus on the LGBTQ experience and the role of families, culture and the law.
CBM is a long-time supporter and member of the Academy and offers decades of experience providing financial neutral and financial planning services for couples separating via the collaborative divorce process.
Wendy Moyers, senior financial advisor at CBM, will attend on behalf of the firm to hear more about the past, present and future of LGBTQ families, the perspectives of family law attorneys who have expertise working with LGBTQ clients, cultural competency and the mental health perspective of parents, families and couples.
The symposium will take place at the Darlington House at 1620 20th Street, NW, Washington, DC. For more information, visit the DC Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
